Owners Tom and Tim Cosgrove were locked in on a contract with Hibu they could not seem to get out of and every year got more expensive for a simple static website. This is a very common problem with large English company that bought out what we knew as The Yellow Pages. (learn more).

The above google search tells you all you need to know Hibu and their services and once you get in very hard to get out.  First they did not own their domain name Hibu did!, and they use this leverage to keep you in the contract.  So first we to created a new domain that they actually owned, then built the website.  Having a new established website is one of the few ways you can get out of their agreements. If you just refuse to pay you lose your website and will have to start at square one, not good for your digital reputation.

They also take ownership of your (google + listing & Google My Business) with is key to website digital listing.  Fortunately for Pets’s we know how to get control of their listing and will show them how to keep control!  We are still waiting for Hibu to discontinue their current  website (Both sites are listed currently, so Hibu’s  google listing shows now). Once they take the site down and they will if you don’t pay, your website listing will still point to the no-existant website on google.  Then with our process we can get them back up and running with the new website listing  in as little as 3 to 5 business days. 

So the bottom line is sometime’s what looks like a good is a bad deal. Now not only do the save $1320.00 a year, they have a website they control and now they are actually excited  about new digital promotions they can now afford  to pursue.
